Jumping Jacks Quilt in Red, Pink, and Grey

I finished this pretty lady a while ago, but she's been waiting patiently for her glamour shoot. The pattern is "Jumping Jacks" by Fig Tree and Co.

This is the second one I've made and I already have a third in the works! It's just such a great quilt. Plus I have a British mother, 6 aunts, and a grandma who probably all need one, so I'm not stopping any time soon!

I had such a fun time using alllll the girly colors. I used a mix of Bonnie and Camille prints, a print or two from the Baby Jane line, as well as some basics mixed in. The neutral is Kona Bone, my very favorite cream color. The border is from the Miss Kate line by Bonnie and Camille.

I'm really going to miss this one, but she's going to live with a very special lady who at this point shall remain unnamed :)

I can't wait to show you the next one I'm working on, it's completely different colors and is going to be so good!

I've added this quilt to a fun link party hosted by Sew Fresh Quilts. She makes such cute animal quilts, but my very favorite of hers is "Little Blooms", it's gorgeous!

  1. Such a beauty! I know I have one of these on a list of quilts to do. Just not sure of the colors, I have to find the perfect fabrics. Yours are pretty darn close! TFS.

  6. Is this the Fig Tree pattern? Also do you happen to know what fabric you used for your border? I love this quilt!

    2. Do you mine people copying you? I don't have all of this fabric but quite a bit of it. It is so amazing you have such a good eye for color. You should kit some of your projects they would sell out immediately!

    3. That is so kind of you to say, thank you. I think that copying with credit given is the greatest compliment of all, I would be honored!

  7. I love this quilt so much and your fabric choices are just lovely! I've just downloaded the pattern from Fig Tree and have set myself a deadline for making this quilt for my husband for his 40th birthday at the end of next month - nothing like a bit of pressure! One thing I wanted to ask if you don't mind, I've just been looking at the cutting instructions for the coral diagonal and straight stripes of the flag and they only state the measurements for if you're using one fabric. Like yourself I would like to use different fabrics for each flag but can't quite work out how much I will need - I don't suppose you made a note of what the measurements would be if I was cutting from different fabrics?! Hope you don't mind my random question! Thanks so much!
