Oh hello! I’m Allison
But you can call me Alli.
I started quilting in 2013, when I had 2 babies and my husband was studying all the time. I taught myself using library books, my best friend (who knew how to sew but not quilt), and lots of trial and error. Quilting brought me SO much joy, and I soon started scribbling out my own designs. In 2016 I started Woodberry Way, named after the street my mother grew up on in London, and began releasing patterns, teaching classes, and selling custom fabric bundles. I feel so honored to be a part of the quilting community, where you can find the best humans on earth. I love to share what I’m making on Instagram, and see what you’re making too.
Our family lives in Sacramento, California, in between the mountains and the ocean. We have fun camping, paddle boarding, riding bikes, rock climbing, and playing various sports. Ok I don’t play any sports, but I do drive them around. The boys also love musical theatre and I enjoy cheering them on, helping learn the music, and painting the sets. We have a very distinguished Bernedoodle named Bob Ross (“Bobby”), and the world’s friendliest parakeet- Sunny!
Outside of quilting I do a lot of baking and gardening, chatting with my 5 sisters on Marco Polo, playing the piano, and figuring out how to make feeding teenage boys more fun. Let me know if you have any tips! I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and find joy and peace in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I appreciate you stopping by and hope you’ll find something that inspires you!
