Rise Quilt- Prairie Points and Borders

Friends, we've made it! Today is the last pattern release for the Rise quilt along. I'm so sad that it's over, but I can't wait to see your finished quilts.

The giveaway winner is Bridgette McNay! Thanks to all who entered- I could just hug every one of you who sewed along this summer. Thank you for making this so much fun.

Here's my finished top. I went with softer colors, cream instead of white, and a pale grey border to match the baskets this time and I just love how dainty it is. One or the other of mine will be for sale soon, since having two baby girl quilts of the same sort in this boy house would be truly excessive! Don't you love my cute helper who isn't quiiite tall enough? :)

Lastly, I will announce here when the full paper pattern is available.

Thanks again friends! I hope you love your Rise quilts!

  6. I am starting this project late but I just discovered it tonight. My mom is critically ill and I want to make this for her because she loves balloons and used to be on a chasing crew. She also has Alzheimer's but she hasn't forgotten her ballooning days. I care for her in my home and it is 24/7 job. I know this will make her happy and it is also my therapy. I am new to this so I am glad to find this sew along!
