Monday Mockup 1

I'm starting a fun new series with mockups of different quilt patterns in different lines. It's a fun way for me to "make" a quilt that I'm dying to make, but don't really have time or resources for. I'm hoping it's inspirational for you and adds a little fun to your Mondays.

I want to feature patterns from lots of different designers, but since I need to make sure I have permission first, I'm starting with one of my quilt patterns today.

Pattern: Arabesque
Fabric: Lella Boutique's line "Little Miss Sunshine"

I just love it, I so wish I had the real quilt! I'll be filing these on Insta with #MockupMondayQuilt. If there's something you're dying to see, let me know and maybe I'll feature it!

  1. That's an interesting concept, especially for those of us who don't have the software to enable us to do stuff like that. Your quilt in those colour ways looks great, it would wonderful to be able to give you the pattern and fabric in my head and find out how it would turn out. As I don't have the software what I would really like is a feature on it, how easy is it to use, what can be done with it can I use it in a mac and is it worth the money.

    1. It has been worth every penny and more to me. It takes a bit of learning to figure out, but not too bad. I fought with it for a while last night as a matter of fact, haha. But overall it has helped me a lot with quilt math, helped me quickly decide yes or no on several quilts, and enabled me to start putting designs into action. I really love it! And you can for sure buy a version for Mac.

  2. I would love to have a few of these patterns if you do get permission. I have thought if buying the software but I'm sure I would spend way too much time looking at ideas and less time sewing. Please let us know if any are available and I will let you know. I like patterns with larger pieces to see the fabrics. I have a f/q bundle I'd like to use but want larger blocks to show it off. If you can make anything up that takes a bundle I'd be happy to purchase it from you!!
