I'm quite enamored with this quilt pattern, as well as its designer- Samantha at Aqua Paisley Studio. Samantha is one of the first quilters I found on Instagram, and I really look up to her as a person and a creator. Her pattern "At the Crossroads" has a beautiful story behind it.
I sometimes find that the quilts I enjoy making are different than the quilts I enjoy having in my home, but I feel like this pattern satisfies both. I hope to make it one day!

I can relate to your feeling that sometimes 'the quilts you enjoy making are different than the quilts you enjoy having in your home'. It does feel like that sometimes.
ReplyDeleteOh I like this pattern! I need to add it to my sixty-seven mile long wish list. :)
ReplyDeleteCurious minds want to know. Where is the beautiful story found? :)
ReplyDeleteYou know, I don't remember exactly where I read it. It must have been on her instagram, you can check #atthecrossroadsquilt, or it could have been on the blog. I also think she shares each story with the pattern. Sorry I don't have more specifics on that!
DeleteHi Janice - I do share the story behind each of my quilts in the actual pattern and occasionally on IG too @aqua_paisley. Thanks for being curious ;)
DeleteI was just popping by to see what you have been up to and I stumbled upon this (and now I am blushing!). Thanks for sharing my pattern and your kind words.
