Monday Mockup 5

I'm quite enamored with this quilt pattern, as well as its designer- Samantha at Aqua Paisley Studio. Samantha is one of the first quilters I found on Instagram, and I really look up to her as a person and a creator. Her pattern "At the Crossroads" has a beautiful story behind it.

Pattern: At the Crossroads by Samantha Dorn
Fabric: mix of Vintage Picnic and Little Ruby by Bonnie and Camille

I sometimes find that the quilts I enjoy making are different than the quilts I enjoy having in my home, but I feel like this pattern satisfies both. I hope to make it one day!

  1. I can relate to your feeling that sometimes 'the quilts you enjoy making are different than the quilts you enjoy having in your home'. It does feel like that sometimes.

    1. You know, I don't remember exactly where I read it. It must have been on her instagram, you can check #atthecrossroadsquilt, or it could have been on the blog. I also think she shares each story with the pattern. Sorry I don't have more specifics on that!

    2. Hi Janice - I do share the story behind each of my quilts in the actual pattern and occasionally on IG too @aqua_paisley. Thanks for being curious ;)

  4. I was just popping by to see what you have been up to and I stumbled upon this (and now I am blushing!). Thanks for sharing my pattern and your kind words.
